Tumbling at Sonshine Academy

Avery attended her first tumbling class at Sonshine Academy on Saturday, December 7, 2013.  We were afraid that she was going to miss her first class because of the ice that decided to descend on Arkansas the previous day.  However, Sonshine did not cancel, and we went to class with Grandma and Grandpa coming along.  Avery LOVES tumbling class.  She is one of eight kiddos that practice their gymnastics and tumbling skills each Saturday morning from 9:35 to 10:15 a.m. They complete two tracks of activities and then have a winding down time comprised of a trick each child has learned and a sing/dance time.  One of Avery's favorite parts is when she gets FOUR stamps (one on each foot and hand) for doing good.  I have a feeling that we will be attending Sonshine Academy for many years to come.
