Picture of Avery from our Fall Family Photos with Cherie Flowers
I thought it may be easiest to document some of Avery's milestones and adventures over the past months with a collection of photos.
Avery's One Month Pic
Avery celebrated her one month birthday on July 18, 2012. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 3 ounces.
Avery's Two Month Pic
Avery celebrated her two month birthday on August 18, 2012. Shortly after her birthday, she had her two month check-up (August 23, 2012). She weighed in at 10 pounds, 15 ounces. She also had her first round of shots. She was such a trooper.
On August 26, 2012, Avery slept in her big girl bed for the first night. She did not wake up at all. She has been such a great sleeper. She has been sleeping through the night since she was three weeks old, which has been wonderful for mommy and daddy.
Two days later (on August 28th), Avery tackled another big milestone-she rolled over for the first time. Ever since then, she has been rolling everywhere.
On September 18th, Avery celebrated her three month birthday.
At the end of September, we visited the Schafer Pumpkin Patch. Avery seemed to enjoy all the pumpkins. It was unseasonly cool that day, so we did not stay very long.
On October 3, 2012, Avery achieved another milestone-she starting sleeping on her tummy. I was a little bothered by this and even attempted to roll her back to her back but she rolled right back over. John and I decided that if she was capable of rolling over to her stomach, she could roll back over if she needed to.
The week of October 15th was a busy week, Avery celebrated her four month birthday and her baptism. We were truly blessed to have Father Warren Harvey come up from Pine Bluff.
Avery's Four Month Pictures-I love that smile!
Avery's Baptism-October 20, 2012
St. Joseph Catholic Church
We were truly blessed to be surrounded by family and friends on this special occasion. Avery did a great job and was not phased by all the attention. I big thanks goes out to one of my best friends, Theresa, who traveled all the way from Chicago for the ceremony and to be Avery's godmother. Jacob, my brother, is Avery's godfather.
Not that October was busy enough, but we also celebrated Avery's First Halloween. She went as Minnie Mouse-thanks to grandma.
