Avery's First Day at Preschool

Avery's First Day of Preschool at Conway Christian School was August 15, 2014. She is in Mrs. Lentz's K2 Class.  She attends on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for half days!  She loves her "new friends" and "her teacher."

The BEACH!

I have never really been a "beach bum"---primarily, because I cannot really swim.  But in August 2014, John and I decided to bite the bullet and take a trip to the beach (Sea Grove, Florida) with his parents and Avery.  Long story short and after what seemed like a VERY long drive, we arrived in Sea Grove.  I LOVED it!  Avery loved the water and the compacted sand but could not stand the lose sand.  We had such a fun time and will definitely be heading back!!

Avery's Swing Set

For her second birthday, we ordered Avery a swing set.  Due to shipping delays and damaged boxes, her swing set did not arrive until the end of July.  John and I spent an entire Saturday putting it together.  Oh, and I failed to mention that it turned out to be the hottest Saturday on record thus far. John came up with the very bright idea of organizing all the parts according to the instruction manual the night before.  After a very LONG day, the set was finally put together and ready for play. Seeing Avery's face made all the hardwork absolutely worth it!
