Avery at 10 months!

It seems like just yesterday we were bringing Avery home from the hospital.  Now, 10 months later, she is a sweet little girl into everything and fast (since she crawls like Tom Cruise on a mission for Mission Impossible).  She moves so quietly, it is sometimes hard to track her every move.  She loves to cheese for the camera, to be a diva by crying to get your attention only to smile when you look, getting into drawers and cabinets to explore, and "reading" her Maisy  books.

She currently weighs in at 20 pounds, 6 ounces.  She has been eating Gerber stage 3 foods for a little while and has started to eat more adult solids, mainly green beans and carrots. We are slowly but surely making the transition to adult food and sippy cups (rather than bottles).  She enjoys bath time, eating, giving out high 5s, giving out hugs, clapping, scooting along the sofa and the windows, building towers with her blocks, and playing with her big brother Bailey.

She has two teeth (both on the bottom).  Hopefully, she will start to have a few more make their appearances.   She mastered momma and dadda, and she has been working on "uh oh" and "BaBa" (for Bailey).  Recently, other sounds have started to form.  We are still trying to decipher what they mean.

Avery and the Easter Bunny

We took Avery to Park Plaza Mall on Saturday, March 30, 2013, to meet the Easter Bunny.  She has been going through this shy, almost scared, phase, so I was a little hesitant how she would react.  But to my surprise, she was a professional. The other parents waiting even commented how she was a natural in front of the camera.  Don't worry...I am not going to become a stage mom. :) She LOVED the Easter bunny, who looked like he had taken a little too many supplements (if you know what I mean).  She even held his hand.
